Cedar Valley Intern Outing

Two-thirds of people say they have seriously considered moving to a new place after visiting. -PDI

One of the strongest assets in the Cedar Valley related to population growth and workforce retention are the interns and students here pursuing education and experience. It is important to provide a bridge into the community for these young professionals and expose them to the lifestyle they can have in the Cedar Valley.

This spurred a new program called the Cedar Valley Intern Outing, piloted in the Summer of 2020, designed to be a hard-sell approach to the Cedar Valley and connecting these young professionals with resources and information regarding life in the Cedar Valley.

 

The events will be three Cedar Valley bus tours around the Cedar Valley, with engaging stops along the way. The goal is to highlight the rich history and diversity of the Cedar Valley and to show where our community is headed.
